Hurrah!

So my metal parts have arrived and so I will now be building Tiger No:332 from the 507th Heavy tank battalion in the Courland Bridghead late 1944. This beast of a Tiger is notable as it had spare track links along the whole side of the turret and spare track links on the bow. It will prove a difficult model to make, but I am up for the challange!

Parts ready to go, I only hope that I have enough spare track links!

Tiger Fever is back in town!

Well, i've made a start. The Challenger 2 by Trumpeter in 1/72 Scale, goe's together nicely but in this scale it can be a little fiddly.

Now that looks interesting John. Wonder if some certain plastic figures will be used with it?

So what's your plan with this then matey, quite fancied the Taimya 1/35 scale one but running out of big tank space!

Cheers matey!

Just to say: The PE parts Mrs got me are alarmingly accurate! Incredible detail and scaringly intricate! Even down to the padlocks for the stowage bin! The Fenders Young COV are more accurate than the ones I gave you, and I am drooling!

Next step, decals for Tigers from 507th Heavy tank Battalion.

I am going to do the Ugliest Tiger the world.

Great looking model mate, like Ade I was tempted with the Tamiya 1/35 Chally 2, still fancy it really.
Is £35 a good price?

Nice detail on the model, might give Trumpeter a go one day. lookin forward to seeing the dio John.

As for £35 for a Tamiya Chally 2, that is a bit much.

here is a local shop in Coventry, they have it for £27.99.

Right the last loft rescue special. Tamiya 1/35 Abrams M1A1 and (I think) Tamiya Humvee. Built this in the
mid 90's only needed new aerials and the .50 cal repairing, hope you like it.

Really pleased with these, ventured outside, thanks for the inspiration John.

So much going on and loads of extras.

That camo pattern on the vehicles is captured beautifully, shame they stopped using it as the snow version was the dogs doo dahs.

Thanks for showing them.Smiley angel

Thanks fellas, well, it's finished (this one anyway). I think the Chally 2 dio will only have two tanks on because i love the way this one has turned out, the only two things i'm disappointed with Trumpeter 1:72 is, no hatches can be opened and the tow cables are crap.

Didn't go overboard on the weathering too as it look's just right for the base.
