WOW, thanks lads. Still not done but at lease i know you lot like it, having problems with the snow (run out, opps). The trees are from the shop, got a forrest for £17 so i don't think that was bad. But while i was there i was silly, i got the trees plus 1/48 M10 Tank Destroyer and M26 Pershing. Thanks again, John

Looking Good Cent!!! Looking forward to the finished item, with a bit of weathering and that!!!! My project is on a back seat at the moment . . . . Work has gone hectic and I haven't had a chance to sit down at my workbench . . . But the Chrismas break approaches real fast!!!!

It puts a shiver down my back John! That looks fantastic mate, very seasonal all you need is a few Jerry carol singers doing a rendition of silentnacht and a couple of raindeers, take a picture, print onto card with the words Merry Christmas from Cent and send to all of your friends. If Carlsberg did Christmas cards this would be it.Lol Love the snow effect with the odd clump here and there and the camo is just brill. Have been to busy with work so I havnt touched any models in the last week, though hopefully get a chance next week, need to get the Cent and Jurgen finished so I can start on my Tiger. Place in ground, keep at arms length, light the blue touch paper and stand back!

Hi all, need your help. At the mo i'm building the M26 Pershing but, i have a problem. Do i build as March 1945 for the final push into Germany (all nice, clean and fresh) or do i go for the Korean War 1950 (well uesd, weathered and coming out of a river)? What do you lot think? John

I think a "forgotten war" dio would be the way to go Cent. Haven't seen that many done for the Korean War... Nice change of pace from WWII

The only time a tank is clean and fresh is 2 minutes after it came of the assembly line! I would say do the Pershing pushing into Germany, it only takes a couple of weeks in the hands of a G I for a tank to look battered, and it would show people that the Ronson wasn't the only tank the Yanks used

John Are you building the Tamiya 1:48 Pershing, John? If so, strictly speaking, it's the wrong kind for Korea. The Tamiya one is an M26E3, which was the kind deployed to Germany in 1945. The M26 as used in Korea has different tracks and a different gun travel lock. Sorry to be a rivet-counter, but I thought you might like to know. Of course, you can always ignore that and do a Korea diorama anyway. More interesting than just another WWII scene. And you could do another snowy one, like your Panther... Lovely...

No probs, always an option for a dio in the future! Pretty sure you will do a fine dio whichever war you will choose. Could look at how they used the Pershing as artillery in the Puson Perimiter as an idea?

Ah ah, i thought something was amiss, it is the 1/48 Tamiya one. Thanks for the info Jim, much appreciated. Right, the Korean dio is on hold for now but it will get done. I've got to do it justice. So the M26 will be in Germany 45. Sorry to Bennyboy, PurpleStump & Overlord for not doing Korea (for now). John

Once again centurion you have surpassed our expectations. just when we think "He can't get any better!" You pull something else out of the hat! Great stuff! What are you going to title it?
