A trailer for a DVD being released in spring 2010 which re- examines at the death of SS Hauptsturmfuhrer (Capt) Michael Wittmann on 8th aug 1944 during Op Totalize. The DVD content is based on interviews with Joe Ekins of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry and an examination of the battlefield by battlefield historians and ex soldiers. Looks pretty good, very similar though to the Discovery channel doc a load of us saw the other week, see seperate thread. Thanks for the heads up mate.

I think it is by the same company and the interviews either are the same or were done at the same time. If you look, the clothes of Ekin, the battlefield expert and the local expert are all the same as in the Discovery program.

I've been lucky to met Joe Ekins a few times, he has no time for the Wittman "myth"...Joes's opinion..."bloody nazi bast".... This was taken at the 60th anniversary bash at The Mall, London..
