So, I thought I would bring back to life the famous armour quiz! All are allowed to join in. The usual rules apply, If you get the answer right you get to ask the next question. But you must be told you have the answer right first!

Here is the first question to get you all keen and excited:

This famous world war 2 Tank had a puzzling debut! It was used by the country it was not invented in, in a war Not in Europe. But it was used by Europeans against other Europeans.

What was the tank?

Ah , I see, not satisfied with being ritually ( and of course, intellectually ) humiliated by Schwarzpanzer over in the King Tinger v JS2 thread , you have seen fit to intervene in this thread have you ? You have failed to spot that I was talking hypothetically but , nonetheless, factually and with a conviction born not only out of ignorance but also total recklessness for the truth.

Have to give it to Tank buster.

It was indeed the M3. Though this is true of the Sherman aswell the M3 was the first American Tank to be Transported abroad, the first place it saw action was with the Brits against the Germans in Africa!

Tank Buster, your question sir!

"This tank replaced the Tiger I and was much feared across Europe, what was it?"

He replied,

First thoughts was the German thingy (can't remember name) that they sent 3 to Norway,
but I think it's a Russian T28.

Do I get a choice of 3? It's a little small to make out details.

Either way, it's based on a Vickers 6-ton.

It is based on a Vickers 6-ton, but not British, you've miss-interpreted my use of the word "Warm"
Also as far as I can tell only 1 remains.

I's the Finnish version, as far as I'm aware the only surviving Vickers 6 tonner is in Panssarimuseo, Finland.
